Twitter can no longer take screenshots

Twitter is going to provide its users with a feature that does not allow them to take screenshots. Instead of taking a screenshot of the actual tweet and sharing it, the company is about to introduce a new feature to encourage the activity of copying the link of the tweet or sharing the link.

Currently, some users have shared on social media that when they are about to take a screenshot of a tweet, two options, 'Copy Link' and 'Share Tweet', appear. The user has to choose one of these two options and there is no option to not choose both options.

This means, Twitter is now preparing to bring a feature that does not allow taking screenshots on its platform. Twitter earns when a user loads a browser or site through the official Twitter app. However, the company does not earn any income through screenshots.

For this reason, it is assumed that the company is about to introduce a feature that does not allow taking screenshots on its platform.
