Obesity can be controlled if you consume herbs regularly and follow the quantity and standards that you can tolerate.



Some of the causes of obesity can be high-calorie foods, lack of physical exercise, busy lifestyle, side effects of chemical pesticides, effects of genetics, etc. The risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease also appears to be inversely related to obesity. There is also a scientific fact that some herbs available in Nepal can be effective in avoiding the problem of obesity.


Amla: A major source of vitamin C is Amla, an herb in triphala. It can be used alone or mixed with Harobarro. The use of amla controls the amount of sugar in the body. According to research conducted by Canadian scientists in 2017, amla and triphala help to control body weight.


It has been proved by a test conducted on mice by a professor of Kyung Hee University in South Korea in 2022 that consuming amla juice and barley jamra juice mixed with it can melt fat easily and control blood sugar levels.


Consuming 5 to 8 grams of dried amla daily is beneficial.


Cinnamon: Consuming cinnamon powder daily can reduce the width of the waist, reduce the amount of lipids in the blood, and melt fat. Research in Australia has found that cinnamon improves insulin levels in diabetic patients. The polyphenolic compounds found in it prevent the absorption of fats in the body.


Boil half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder in a cup of water and drink it. Drinking it up to three times a day is beneficial in controlling obesity.


Gheeukumari: Japanese scientists have confirmed that the consumption of ghee juice reduces body weight in 90 days. It prevents the increase of sugar in the body and melts fat. Daily consumption of Gheekumari increases insulin in the body, cleanses the stomach, improves the liver, reduces fat, balances the lipid profile in the blood, and is beneficial in weight control.


Consuming two-three spoons of ghee in a glass of water daily on an empty stomach for 2-3 months can give good results.

Soaking two spoons of cumin in water overnight and boiling it in the morning to prepare the juice and consuming it continuously for two months helps to control body weight.


Eating cumin water on an empty stomach in the morning helps control weight. Cumin juice can be consumed by adding more cinnamon, fenugreek, lemon juice, horseradish, syapatri flower, sajna leaves, sisno leaves, ginger etc.


Tulsi: Tulsi juice can also be beneficial if you are trying to lose weight.
